20. Ta-Ha (Ta-Ha)

مَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ يَحْمِلُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وِزْرًا(100)

جو شخص اس سے روگردانی کرے گا تو بیشک وہ قیامت کے دن سخت بوجھ اٹھائے گا

Whoever turns away from it will certainly carry an unmanageable burden on the Day of Rising.

خَالِدِينَ فِيهِ وَسَاءَ لَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حِمْلًا(101)

وہ اس (عذاب) میں ہمیشہ (پڑے) رہیں گے، اور ان کے لئے قیامت کے دن بہت ہی بُرا بوجھ ہوگا

They will (remain) in this (torment) forever, and it will be a very evil burden for them on the Day of Rising.

يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ وَنَحْشُرُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَئِذٍ زُرْقًا(102)

جس دن صور پھونکا جائے گا اور اس دن ہم مجرموں کو یوں جمع کریں گے کہ ان کے جسم اور آنکھیں (شدّتِ خوف اور اندھے پن کے باعث) نیلگوں ہوں گی

The Day when the trumpet will be blown, We shall assemble the evildoers with their bodies and eyes turned blue (due to intense fear and loss of sight),

يَتَخَافَتُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا عَشْرًا(103)

آپس میں چپکے چپکے باتیں کرتے ہوں گے کہ تم دنیا میں مشکل سے دس دن ہی ٹھہرے ہوگے

Inaudibly whispering to one another: ‘You stayed in the world for hardly ten days.’

نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذْ يَقُولُ أَمْثَلُهُمْ طَرِيقَةً إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا يَوْمًا(104)

ہم خوب جانتے ہیں وہ جو کچھ کہہ رہے ہوں گے جبکہ ان میں سے ایک عقل و عمل میں بہتر شخص کہے گا کہ تم تو ایک دن کے سوا (دنیا میں) ٹھہرے ہی نہیں ہو

We know best what they will be saying while one of them better in wisdom and deeds will say: ‘You have not stayed (in the world) for more than a day.’

وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْجِبَالِ فَقُلْ يَنسِفُهَا رَبِّي نَسْفًا(105)

اور آپ سے یہ لوگ پہاڑوں کی نسبت سوال کرتے ہیں، سو فرمادیجئے: میرا رب انہیں ریزہ ریزہ کر کے اڑا دے گا

And they ask you concerning mountains. So say: ‘My Lord will blow them off as dust particles,

فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعًا صَفْصَفًا(106)

پھر اسے ہموار اور بے آب و گیاہ زمین بنا دے گا

Then will change it into a levelled, barren land,

لَّا تَرَى فِيهَا عِوَجًا وَلَا أَمْتًا(107)

جس میں آپ نہ کوئی پستی دیکھیں گے نہ کوئی بلندی

In which you will find neither any depression nor any elevation.’

يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَّبِعُونَ الدَّاعِيَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُ وَخَشَعَتِ الْأَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْمَنِ فَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْسًا(108)

اس دن لوگ پکارنے والے کے پیچھے چلتے جائیں گے اس (کے پیچھے چلنے) میں کوئی کجی نہیں ہوگی، اور (خدائے) رحمان کے جلال سے سب آوازیں پست ہوجائیں گی پس تم ہلکی سی آہٹ کے سوا کچھ نہ سنوگے

On that Day people will tread on behind the caller and there will be no deviation in (following) him. And all voices will be hushed due to the Majesty of the Most Kind (Lord). So you will not hear anything except a faint sound of a stir.

يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا تَنفَعُ الشَّفَاعَةُ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَنُ وَرَضِيَ لَهُ قَوْلًا(109)

اس دن سفارش سود مند نہ ہوگی سوائے اس شخص (کی سفارش) کے جسے (خدائے) رحمان نے اذن (و اجازت) دے دی ہے اور جس کی بات سے وہ راضی ہوگیا ہے (جیسا کہ انبیاء و مرسلین، اولیاء، متقین، معصوم بچوں اور دیگر کئی بندوں کا شفاعت کرنا ثابت ہے)

On that Day no intercession shall be fruitful except his (intercession) whom the Most Kind (Lord) has granted leave (and permission) and with whose word He is pleased (such as Prophets and Messengers, Allah’s chosen and fearing servants, Godwary slaves, innocent children and many other devoted servants of Allah whose intercession is validated).
