51. سورة الذَّارِيَات

الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَO(11)

جو جہالت و غفلت میں (آخرت کو) بھول جانے والے ہیںo

Those who are oblivious (of the Hereafter) due to negligence and ignorance.

يَسْأَلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الدِّينِO(12)

پوچھتے ہیں یومِ جزا کب ہو گا؟o

They ask: ‘When is the Day of Requital?’

يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى النَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَO(13)

(فرما دیجئے:) اُس دن (ہوگا جب) وہ آتشِ دوزخ میں تپائے جائیں گےo

(Say:) ‘The Day (when) they will be roasted in the Fire of Hell.’

ذُوقُوا فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَO(14)

(اُن سے کہا جائے گا:) اپنی سزا کا مزہ چکھو، یہی وہ عذاب ہے جسے تم جلدی مانگتے ہوo

(It will be said to them:) ‘Relish your punishment. It is this punishment which you seek to hasten.’

إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍO(15)

بیشک پرہیزگار باغوں اور چشموں میں (لطف اندوز ہوتے) ہوں گےo

Surely the pious will be (rejoicing) in gardens and springs,

آخِذِينَ مَا آتَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَO(16)

اُن نعمتوں کو (کیف و سرور) سے لیتے ہوں گے جو اُن کا رب انہیں (لطف و کرم سے) دیتا ہوگا، بیشک یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو اس سے قبل (کی زندگی میں) صاحبانِ احسان تھےo

Receiving those blessings (in ecstatic delight) which their Lord will be giving them (with munificence and benevolence). Surely it is they who were people of spiritual excellence (in their life) before this.

كَانُوا قَلِيلًا مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَO(17)

وہ راتوں کو تھوڑی سی دیر سویا کرتے تھےo

They used to sleep at night only for a short while,

وَبِالْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَO(18)

اور رات کے پچھلے پہروں میں (اٹھ اٹھ کر) مغفرت طلب کرتے تھےo

And used to (get up and) seek forgiveness in the later part of the night.

وَفِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِO(19)

اور اُن کے اموال میں سائل اور محروم (سب حاجت مندوں) کا حق مقرر تھاo

And in their wealth was appointed a due share for the beggars and the destitute (i.e. all the needy).

وَفِي الْأَرْضِ آيَاتٌ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَO(20)

اور زمین میں صاحبانِ ایقان (یعنی کامل یقین والوں) کے لئے بہت سی نشانیاں ہیںo

And there are many Signs in the earth for the people with the truth of certitude (i.e. people of perfect certitude),
